What is Hangouts Meet and how to use Google Meet?

Google HangoutsMeet It is Google's video conferencing equipment, created to improve the experience of professional video calls. It consists of the Hangouts Meet application and its video conferencing hardware.

By using the Hangouts Meet app, you can join or create video calls with anyone who has access, from anywhere. If you have the G Suite Basic or Business plan, you can connect with a maximum of 25 people. How to create a meeting in Meet?

  1. Sign in to Google Calendar.
  2. Click on the "Create" button located at the top left of the screen (you can also click directly on a hole in your agenda).
  3. A popup will then open in which you can configure the meeting. You will see a rather striking blue button that says “Add Google Meet video call”.
  4. Click on the button.
  5. When clicked, the button will change its name and say "Join with Google Meet".
  6. Clicking again will enter the meeting.

  1. Opens google-calendar and create an event.
  2. In section Guests > add guests, write the mail of all the people who participate in the video call.

B. On mobile devices

  1. open the app google-calendar and create an event.
  2. Add guests.
  3. click Add conference.
  4. click Clever.

3. Join a video call

  5. Call: in case you have the plan G Suite Enterprise, you will also have the option to access from a call, only with audio. To do this, open the event in Calendar and tap the phone number.
  6. Third Party System: This option is only available if the particular organization allows it. To access you will have to open Calendar, give to More options to meet, Click on Third party systems and follow the directions it gives you.

4. Share your screen and record your video conferences

If you want to share your screen:

  1. click file now.
  2. Choose the mode of presentation: the whole screen either window.
  3. give to Share.

5. Adjust your devices
