2.1 Before a video call
The best option is apply effects before a call, and it is very easy and intuitive to achieve. When we want to enter a call, we will see our image in a big way, being able to choose if we want to enter with a camera and/or with an open microphone. If we look at the lower right area of our image we will see some "flashes", where we can choose the background of our image. Here we can choose between three actions:
Enter without any effect or background.
Blur the background.
Upload a background image or use a default one.
If we choose blurry, we find two types, one subtle and another in which only the image of the participant (face and body) is seen in good quality while the rest cannot be differentiated at all.
2.2 During the video call
In case you are already inside the call, it is somewhat more complicated since we will not be able to see it at first. That is why we have to click on the three points and a menu of options will be displayed, among them “Apply visual effects”. In order not to interrupt the call, it is recommended to turn off the camera and edit the background that you like the most, so as not to interrupt the meeting of the rest of the participants.
